About the Role
We’re looking for a Counter Salesperson who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys helping people find the right tools and materials for the job. You’ll be the go-to person for contractors, builders, and DIY customers needing concrete and masonry construction products in Northeast Ohio.
If you enjoy solving problems, staying organized, and building strong relationships, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do

Help customers select the right products and materials for their construction needs

Accurately enter orders into our system and coordinate with outside sales reps

Provide info on pricing, product prep/application, safety, and delivery

Handle in-person transactions, credit card processing, and daily cash register reconciliation

Monitor and follow up on open or partially shipped orders

Manage returns, prepare reports, and track inventory

Replenish showroom shelves and keep the space organized and stocked

Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and answer additional questions

Support occasional tasks and coordination with other departments (credit, delivery, purchasing, etc.)
What You Bring to the Table
-
2+ years of customer service, inside sales, or retail experience (construction materials a plus!)

Excellent communication skills—in person, over the phone, and digitally
-
Ability to learn products and systems quickly
-
A hands-on, team-oriented attitude
-
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs (and up to 100 lbs with assistance)
-
Willingness to work in various weather conditions and climb ladders as needed

High school diploma or GED required
