Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR / Recruiting Specialist to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in human resources or recruiting, who are eager to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for people, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation and orientation coordination.
- Generate and analyze HR reports using Excel (e.g., headcount, turnover, recruitment metrics).
- Assist HR administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Some overnight travel is required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ATS platforms and HRIS systems.
- Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Construction or electrical knowledge
