Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR / Recruiting Specialist to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in human resources or recruiting, who are eager to grow their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for people, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with full-cycle recruitment including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases.
  • Support onboarding processes for new hires, including documentation and orientation coordination.
  • Generate and analyze HR reports using Excel (e.g., headcount, turnover, recruitment metrics).
  • Assist HR administrative tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Some overnight travel is required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ATS platforms and HRIS systems.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Construction or electrical knowledge
