Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Setting project sites up, to include equipment and scaffolding.
  • Identifying safety related issues and correcting those issues including making sure that all members of the crew are meeting OSHA safety standards.
  • Coordinating project activities with interior operations of the building or the homeowner’s schedule.
  • Protecting the building and building content for any projects that they are working on.
  • Document before/after photos, job progress notes, materials used, and labor hours in Dataforma daily for each work order turning in upon completion
  • Ensuring the safety of all roofer/laborers.
  • Assign appropriate tasks to workers.
  • Ensure that work is always in good progress.
  • Keep management updated on project development.
  • Make sure that jobs are completed on or before deadlines.
  • Ensure that the safety of workers is guaranteed at all times.
  • Maintain truck and keep in good condition by checking fluids regularly, reporting any damages to Management immediately, and keeping trucks clean
  • Check and maintain material inventory levels on trucks replenishing as needed, as well as keeping equipment and tools inventoried, secure, and in good condition
  • Turn in Work Orders, PO’s, gas receipts, and packing slips in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years roofing experience.
  • Physically able to do the required work.
  • Comply with OSHA and Company rules and regulations.
  • Balance in an unstable position.
  • Knowledge of basic reading & writing skills.
  • Tolerate loud noise.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Able to lift 100 lbs.
  • Positive work ethic.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to work out of town.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-hire criminal background check & drug screening.

Working Conditions
